Welcome to the developer update

The SHR community is a very active community, who's always filling the chat. SHR is also a work in progress and there is much work going on. So because there are developers who can't always follow the chat and follow the developers to our common goal. Or developers who miss a week on the chat because of job-related (read: boring) stuff. I would like to introduce this wiki page. If all the developers just paraphrase the things they have done on this wiki page, we all can follow the SHR progress.

Each week there is a new dev-update and each dev-update is divided into 2 categories. The 'Done' category is for things that were done that week by a developer. The 'In progress' category is for things that you are working on.

ptitjes: Add support in Vala for GType-based instanciation of dbus proxies.

ptitjes: Rewrote and modularized the most of ophonekitd in Vala. ( git)
ptitjes: Writing a lightweight component container for Vala, to host ophonekitd's modules, based on Inversion Of Control principles (largely inspired by Avalon framework and DNA)

Week 6 (26 jan-1 feb 09)

ptitjes: Developed new vala-dbus-binding-tool to generate vala bindings based on xml intrsopection data. (hosted on  FSO)
ptitjes: Generated bindings for frameworkd and created libfso-glib to share these bindings between server and client applications. (hosted on  FSO)

Week 5 (19-25 jan 09)

dolfje: Adapted the dialer so you can enter a '+', that's needed for calling international numbers
ptitjes: Hacked Gentoo ebuilds for XSB and Flora.  More informations

dolfje: Making a elm widget that automatically changes font-size, so the text fills the container
dolfje: Adapting the keypad, so you can also enter letters and symbols
