How do I import my Contacts into SHRs contact manager?

not at all! In the current release of SHR there is no pim or addressbook. SHR delivers an application for the contacts stored on your simcard.

However, you can use a script that is reading vcards and stores the result via dbus framework to your SIM Card. http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/User:Zem wrote one, called DbusAccessSripts (actually a set of scripts). With new FSO milestone these scripts needed a small rewrite, which is provided in the raw-attachment:das-0.0.1.tgz here. These scripts were tested on SHR-testing 2009-03-03 - see the included README.txt for instructions.
