Settings doesn't honour my preferences

Description
Hi, I'd like to use my phone with just 40-50% of illumination and auto-suspend off. Is it possible to make it by default in my phone or, better, is it possible to put settings under the will of its owner or settings always are resetting when shutting down the phone?

I haven't used shr-testing but I assume it also uses phonefsod. You just have to edit /etc/phonefsod.conf and alter default_brightness = 80 and auto_suspend = normal.
Ok, I could modify a file, but why my settings cannot be set as default by using shr-settings?

This will be fixed by FSO making the timeout values persistent again.
