Description
There a very nice python app called notifier:
http://www.opkg.org/package_213.html
We should also have something like that incorporated in ophonekitd, it's pretty easy to write and should be called when ophonekitd-phonelog writes a missed call to the db.
I like the current behavior concerning new msgs, so I don't think this part should be added. (Actually I think it should be added and that both should be configurable)

Hm.. you I agree, it should be configurable, I also don't want my coworkers to read my messages ;]
So it should be configurable to decide what to do (show/show in list/show in gadget).

this should be in the next version of ophonekitd which is being rewrote in vala.

- Status changed from new to closed
- Resolution set to duplicate
Will be done in newest phonegui, we already decided that, closing this to clean the issues list as this is already noted in the phonegui specs:
http://wiki.shr-project.org/trac/wiki/phoneui
Marking as duplicate as it's the same as the phonegui-efl rewrite issue.

for privacy I'd prefer my gf's new sms not opened ;)
some coworker near me could see my moko on the desk!
anyway yes... configurable is a better solution.
(or at least let me know how to change it manually)
