Description
When switching back and forth between "Terminal" and other apps, the keyboard always "escapes" and we have to click the top bar, and click the keyboard button, and click the keyboard type "terminal" (depending on whether other apps have switched keyboard type) to get it back.
Please make it so that "Terminal" registers it's keyboard type with the system in order to auto-switch and raise the "terminal" type keyboard.

Your explanation corresponds merely to one single use case, and it is not the one most users want to use. Personaly, I've never used htop, and I use the terminal a lot. Besides, in that case all you have to do is click the top bar and click the keyboard icon, and it goes away.
If the keyboard hint is implemented for this application, then the majority of terminal app usage cases will be covered, and only the exceptions to the rule will make the users go click-click-click. Right now it is the other way around! Why would you constrict a whole feature to a single use case which isn't even representative???!!!...
I can't reopen this, it won't let me.

This isn't a pertinent change as you may want to use htop and not have a keyboard. So won't fix, sorry :-) If you have any other alternative, please reopen and explain yourself.
