X-Server crashes with literki

Description
Here is the error that occurs when activating literki:
XIO: fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server "localhost:0.0"
after 168 requests (168 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

Other than #1139 this error is still occuring even after the update of the X-server packages.

orrery also crashes the X-Server:
